This policy explains what information Tarotster ("we", "us") collects when you use tarotster.com, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with an email link we store your email address. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Your readings. The questions you ask, the cards you draw, the interpretations generated for you and any rating you give. Signed-in readings are saved to your account; free readings made without an account are stored without any personal identifier.
- Birthday. If you choose to add your birthday for zodiac or numerology insights, we store the date in your profile.
- Payments. Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record. We receive a customer ID, the product you bought and the payment status. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data. Your IP address is used to limit free readings and protect the service from abuse. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
How we use information
- To provide readings and keep a history of them for you
- To manage your account, credits and subscription
- To send sign-in links and essential service emails
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your readings for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to run Tarotster:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and security
- AI model providers — your question and the cards drawn are sent to an AI model to generate your interpretation
- Creem — payments and subscription management
- Resend — sending sign-in and service emails
- Google — optional sign-in
Each provider only receives the information it needs to perform its service.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the service working. We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention and your rights
We keep your account data and readings for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@tarotster.com. Deleting your account removes your readings and profile.
Children
Tarotster is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when it last changed.
